We Stand with Ukraine

We believe that the unprovoked violence from Russia’s dictator and the suppression of his people’s free speech and ability to safely protest is unequivocally wrong. Core to our DNA is what we as a brand insist are non-negotiable rights to freedom and equality for every individual, regardless of their gender, sexuality, political beliefs or geographical location.

We have blocked users from Russia and Belarus from accessing content, products and services across Playboy platforms including Playboy.com, Centerfold.com, iPlayboy.com, and Playboy Plus (with the exception of Russian Centerfold creators who use the platform to exercise their right to free speech and rely on the ability to monetize their content). We have also ceased exploring expansion into Russia for our Honey Birdette business and have issued suspension letters to all of our Russia-based licensees and the publisher of the Russian edition of Playboy magazine.

Like many companies, organizations and individuals, we’ve been having an active dialogue about how we can support Ukraine from within our own walls. During this process, we’ve been inspired by the demonstrations of aid and support for Ukraine that have been taken or suggested both publicly by other brands, as well as from employees and partners within the Playboy ecosystem, and the recent open letter to global tech companies from Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s vice prime minister and minister of digital transformation. We applaud all of those who have taken action or used their voice to protest this crime against the Ukrainian people.
